The grey winged dragons of Clan Chaeir'q are a small group, and the few in the clan who specialize in communication. Silver, true to his name, is their glib, well-spoken, silver tongued skald. A storyteller born, he has not only memorized numerous long epics and poems, but he comes up with his own. One of his favorite pastimes is memorializing the hunts, fights, and great deeds of the clan in verse. He never writes them down or reads them aloud, reciting every word from memory as a point of pride. He considers it a very amusing challenge to translate his memorized stories into the clan's unique form of sign language, and uses the physicality of the telling to make his stories more vivid, almost acting them out as he tells them.

Of all the dragons in the clan, Silver speaks the most. On special occasions, he will proclaim aloud the old tales of the gods, or the epics of particularly heroic dragons. Because of his mastery of the craft, his script is exceedingly small and neat, but his wings are already half covered. He considers it fitting, that the greatest of stories should record themselves on his wings, and he is always searching for a story worthy of being his very last. He is very proud of his art, and believes that a long life spent without practicing it would be no life at all.
