 PROTECTOR OF CLAN MAVERICK BEAUTIFUL AND DEADLY elegant / wistful / gossipy  
Elegance didn't get along with most dragons. Too skinny to survive in the Icefields where she had been born, when she was only a hatchling she had been chased off. She flew all across the world as her mother had given chase. For days her mother had ran her off, agony on both sides. Eventually as Elegance left the territories of the Icefields, she realized she had seen quite a bit of the world. It didn't bring her any joy. She didn't want to see the world. She wanted somewhere to rest. As she travelled, the weather became warmer, and she started to become stronger now that she wasn't using up her energy to keep warm. ྿ A hatchling alone never lasted long. They had two options, give up or become a predator. Elegance wasn't one to give up. She quickly started finding easy targets to pick off, then started fighting more challenging beasts. By the time she was a fully grown dragon, her beauty was only one reason that wandering dragons kept their eyes on her. She was an iceberg, unmovable. She was an avalanche, unstoppable and a force of nature. Still, even though she had become top of the food chain, she wasn't satisfied. When she heard of a new Clan nearby, she didn't hesitate. She immediately flew to them and requested to join, and Nikki and Ekolon welcomed her with open wings. She was one of the first members, and one of the only to be so bold. She didn't like fighting, she never had. She did it for necessities sake. Nikki had told her that she didn't have to fight anymore. Nikki explained that in Clan Maverick, there were both fighters and protectors, dragons who stayed at camp and guarded the young, sick and elderly. Elegance jumped on the chance, and now is one of the best protectors in the Clan. Loyal to the core, she hates that she sometimes dreams of home. |
