Tessa is holding Woodshade's Garden Familiar for him while he is at his internship at the Zephyr Postal Center.

"Well, Laelia, what do you think?" Dalas & Laelia were considering their new foster, Tessa, and her familiar, a very spiny Shardback Minmi. Neither had ever seen one before.

"Mimi! Mimi!" Tessa hugged her familiar to her chest, her eyes flashing.

"It's not like it's going to harm her, Dalas. If you want to try to separate them, go right ahead, but you'll get no help from me." Laelia obviously considered the matter closed. She turned down toward the beach where the others were exploring the tidepools.

Behind her, the hatchling calmed as though aware she had just passed some obscure test. Her "Mimi" snuggled closer.

Dalas called after his mate. "But Laelia! What does it eat??"
