Alise — not Alice, thank you very much — has this weird quirk about them. Animals hate them. Loathe their very existence. The whole thing gets old after the third time all animals and creatures in the vicinity run away from them.

So really, either this new animal they found in the digsites is an idiot, or is immune to their quirk.

“What are you, a rat?” they squint at the… minmi, if they remember correctly, who growls back at them. They growl back, and try to bite them.

Alise takes a step back. “Whatever. You can understand me, can’t you?”

The Minmi nods.

“Yeah, great. Okay. Food’s on the table, if you do your own dishes and whatnot you get to eat, got it?”

Alise may not have any clue how to take care of a dinosaur, but from the nod that the Minmi gives them, they’re pretty sure they’re doing fine.
