Born in the Ashfall Wastes, Akiren was treated like nothing more than another cog in the machine that was the Great Furnace. Tired of being treated nothing more than another tool, he ran away from the Flamecaller's Domain and headed towards the Shifting Expanse, nervous to call himself a rebel aligned with the Magmablood Rebellion. All was peaceful while he worked there for the time being, but that only lasted for a short moment.
Accused of stealing an important part of one of the rods in the Lightning Farm, he was chased out of the clan he was in and into the barren desert that was the Carrion Canyon. On the verge of dying out of exhaustion and dehydration, Arsene, the God of Rebellion, took pity on him and revived Akiren.
Thankful for Arsene's help, he made a pact of devotion to him, much to Arsene's surprise. Akiren then made it his mission that no dragon should suffer under falsehoods and misconceptions, and decided to form a "Thieves' Guild", something he had no shame in being part of. Now with many allies, teammates, and friends, Akiren will stop at nothing to help free dragonkind from false kings and so-called "gods."
