Biography

Tendergold grew up the very picture of good health, far away from the influence of the writhing Plaguelands, and she began to think that she might be safe from her father's curse of rot. Maybe it skips a generation?

No, no it does not.

It was a terrible thing when the soft, sweet sinew in the melon Obelisk's face began to rot out. The muscles holding her skeletal structure together turned sickly sweet and grew weaker with each passing day, until the mush finally fell away completely and Tendergold lost her entire lower jaw. Nowadays, she wears a helmet to hide away her unsightly face, and communicates via sign language as her speech has become little more than guttural gurgles.

Still, the Obelisk hangs onto hope. Maybe the curse can still be bred out of her family? Tendergold waits with bated breath for the day that one of her children -- or even one of her children's children -- hatches from their watermelon completely healthy, untouched by the wretched rot of their ancestors.

(Yes, you heard that right. Hatches from their watermelon. What, did you really think watermelon dragons hatch from regular eggs? That's ridiculous. You're ridiculous.)

Tendergold is victim to the same rot that grips her father, Oran. Maybe to a lesser extent, though, because she still seems to at least have her mind intact. She hopes to eventually breed the curse out of her branch of the lineage by nesting with healthy dragons, to counteract her literal bad blood!

Tendergold somewhat ironically stays away from regular watermelons, fearful that even touching one will spread her rot to it and poison whole patches. However, that doesn't mean she can't beat up on the Beastclans that threaten to eat her lineage's precious melons!

Descendant of Waretelomn and Sandia

I am a warrior of the Watermelon Lineage! I was born and have trained hard to face the Beastclans that threaten to consume all of the watermelons on Sornieth. Alongside participating in fierce battle, I also help with the regrowth of the waning watermelon population, and to help my lineage grow so that we will have the strength to stop the Beastclans once and for all. Let there be no hatchling who will never taste the sweetness of a summer watermelon! To learn more, please click the melon badge!

Level 5 is required for registry. Also, to be registered, a melon must have at least one color in the Jade - Moss range, and another in the Rust - Rose range.

Descendant of Puck

~*If we shadows have offended, Think but this and all is mended*~

I am from A Midsummer Night’s Lineage! Puck is a joker, a prankster, a prince of the Fae -- and his children share his mischievous mind, always playing tricks and causing havoc, speaking in riddles and rhyme. Having more than one of his ilk in a single lair is usually too much for a clan to handle, which is why Puck is sending his youngsters off to torment other lairs with their innocent antics and merrymaking mirth. If you're looking for a whimsical dragon to lighten up your lair, look no farther than this lineage! Click the button to learn more!
