Biography
Once destined for glory serving the Flamecaller, a severe injury turned the tides for young Thornbush, and he found himself wandering Sornieth aimlessly, having been deemed by his birth clan to have no use to their elemental deity in such a condition. On one of many cold nights spent alone, the Wildclaw stumbled down into the sunken, dark earth of the Tangled Wood, having been chased out of the Sunbeam Ruins. Fearful of the dancing shadows, Thorn followed a faint, distant blue light through the night.
As the faint blue light grew brighter, Thorn stumbled upon our domain, and another shadow, this one living and curious, began to follow him. Soon, the seemingly endless darkness gave way to an expansive forest of giant, glowing fungi. Enamoured, the Wildclaw paused, and stood in awe of the Wispwillow Grove, having only heard stories about it before. His momentary lapse in attention was brought to an abrupt halt, however, as Bydraa, the living shadow and one of our own, slipped out of the shadows behind him, letting out a quiet greeting.
Needless to say, the injured drake did not at first take well to the greeting, poising to fight before the decorated female made it clear she meant no harm, and extended the offer for treatment of his wounds, and a safe place to sleep. While he was wary, Thorn was in no condition to deny the gesture of kindness.
Once his wounds were dressed, and the drake was fed, Bydraa insisted on keeping watch over him, and despite the drake's exhaustion, they two Wildclaws talked for many hours before sleep finally claimed him.
Now, the two are inseparable, and while Thorn is still adjusting to a life hidden among the shadows, and his injuries have left him with a permanent limp, it seems he has finally found his place in the world.
