Baphus

The first to join Garua and Glauseer's clan, Baphus aided the pair first as wandering itinerants, and eventually in founding Slumbergloom. Kicked out of his own clan for reasons he refuses to say, he has thrown himself into aiding the pair with theirs and has become a loyal and stalwart second to the Matriarch.

A performer at heart, Baphus punctuates his every move and word with unnecessary drama and poetry. He loves to put on plays, though is more eager to play a part in them than direct them, and has erected a stage at the base of the spiral from which to rope his clanmates into participating. Some appreciate this, such as his common partner-in-crime Stygia and clan patriarch Glauseer. Others, such as Crayster (who is always "far too busy, thank you") and Deo, not so much. Although ever since Baphus accused Crayster of having "no poetry in [his] heart" the Skydancer has offered to write scripts for him, which Baphus often edits to be more dramatic, to Crayster's chagrin.

The only subject Baphus refuses to touch on is ghosts or hauntings of any sort, especially possessions. In fact, the outgoing Fae becomes unusually reserved whenever such tales are told in his presence.
