 INTRO In New Mexico and southern Colorado, it is called plumajillo (Spanish for 'l̵it́t͠ĺé f̸e̷a̡ther') from its leaf shape and texture. In antiquity, yarrow was known as herba militaris, for its use in stanching the flow of blood from wounds. Other common names for this species include gordaldo, nosebleed plant, old man's pepper, dev̛i͢l's net͞tlę, sanguinary, milfoil, soldier's woundwort, thousand-leaf, and t͜ho̢u̕s̢a͞nd͢-s͡e̴al. She chased a white rabbit all the way to the Plague, and never found it again except in her dreams.  STORY 18 (high); a rather spacey child with an interest in what few plants grow in the rather icy territory she was born in. surprisingly simple in nature, despite the rest of her being anything BUT simple. technically undead, though largely unaware of her state; the shade within her and the strange branches and flowers growing on her head have largely kept her alive and in a state between life and death, though she feels no pain. despite this, her magic is incredibly strong; if dianmu hadn't considered her personality a complete wash and sent her to her death, she'd have been an incredible sleeper agent to track the shade. not controlled by dianmu. reasoning: literally undead, and not to mention that dianmu considered her a lost cause to begin with and essentially left her to die. not that yarrow knows that much; as far as she's concerned she fell asleep in the middle of a journey out into the world and woke up without any pains or aches.
