Biography
Peklenc
Fire Crafter/Scientist of the Order
Berserking Blacksmith
If anyone asks him he’s mainly a blacksmith. He and his work on the majority of the armory for the Orders soldiers. Others wonder why he was chosen, while his work is good there is the feeling that many of the ones who work under him could produce better work. Oddly enough while those who work under him get a great deal of buyers, his work goes for the highest prices and seems to be more valued.
Even as poorly made as the initial armors are when they are used in demonstration it seems that not even the harshest blows can bring damage to Peklenc’s work. When asked the demonstrators say that for all their rough edges and the plain look of Pek’s work it is efficient and many claim that they don’t get tired for as long as they are in the armor although several seem to be on the verge of collapse when they remove the armor.
Few who are not insiders to the order get to watch Peklenc at work. It soon become clear that the dragon who works on the armor has a far different energy than the stoic imperial who simply led them through the stalls. The imperial bends to his work with a rage and force that leaves his watchers surprise that anything resembling armor comes out of the berserker’s forge. Magic flows as the dragon directs the energy of the berserker rage into the metal that he folds and bends into armor. When the rage finally leaves Peklenc, He steps away and frowns at the armor, seemingly dissatisfied and has them taken to place on display. One of the underlings will work on it for several months to make it look more elegant and dignified. Peklenc by now has now turned back to his forge and has started work on some other piece with none of the previous anger in his movement.
The pieces that Peklenc works on after he has finished with the frontliner armor show that he had rightfully earned the title of master blacksmith. If one asks nicely once Pek has finished with the demonstration work he may even take them on a tour of the workplace. In corner there are vats with what looks like blood being mixed in with melted ore and Peklenc explains that each vat is being mixed in with the blood of individuals that died in different emotional states - anger, terror, peace etc… He shows off armor being melted down for re-molding as he moves he explains that the ability to bind emotions to their metal work has various uses and they have found out that just drawing on personal emotions or manufactured emotions didn’t quite do as well as they wanted so they have become inventive in finding metals and ores that already had soaked up emotional energy and reforming them into various things like weapons, armor or building materials. They’ve formulated methods of having the emotional energy of living individuals soak into different ores as well. There is the slightest hint of pride in his voice, then they enhance the natural emotions and depending on what it was to be used for the energy could be drawn upon or used to drain away. The imperial continues talking about the different methods and eventually one of the other workers will distract him long enough for Pek’s companion to make his good byes as Pek is ushered back to work.

Rules of the Workshop:
- The emotions that are pushed into the metal are transferrable and it is not recommended that work on any armor be done for more than an hour a day in order to prevent transference.
- Regularly check one’s emotional levels for transference in order to ensure that the quality of the work does not diminish.
- Never let the emotional reagents mix as this will have unfortunately consequences on the quality of the metal work and the entire batch may need to be discarded.
- Do not throw individuals into the vats this does not increase the emotional reagent and you will be made to fish out the pieces of said individual out of the vat with a stick.
- MOST IMPORTANTLY DO NOT INTERRUPT PEKLENC WHEN HE IS WORKING ON FRONTLINER ARMOR. We do not wish to have to rebuild the workshop again please.
