............An expressionless coatl quietly aproaches you. He raises his crest awkwardly and speaks in a monotone, quiet voice "Hello, I assume you've come because a dragon you've once encountered, maybe even cared for, has arrived in our lair," he slightly lowers his crest, his body stiff and conveying no obvious body language. He continues on, "I will also assume you've seen that this clan trains dragons to serve our deities..." he pauses suddenly, looks down and shuffles urgently around in his clothing, clearly searching for something important. His paw seems to settle after a short time and he gently pulls a shabby scroll from his shawl, lightly tugging the worn edges to open it; it unrolls easily and reveals a second pristine scroll which he does not open. ............He resumes eye contact, not even glancing at the ragged piece of paper or unopened scroll that he holds, and continues speaking with his lack of intonation, "I'm Pidge, the clans Exalt Escort. I escort dragons, that have been trained to serve Lightweaver, to the proper location. I oversee them when they are not being trained and handle any inquiries about them prior to their departure. If for any reason you're searching for one of our recruits to join or rejoin your lair, we have some rules for such situations." His crest falls, he turns his focus to the flimsy old paper in his paw, his eyes darting back and forth, the speed of which indicating habit rather than necessity. He rolls up and tucks away the worn-out bit of paper back into his shawl and hands you the intact scroll, sealed by a small bit of string tied in a bow. You tug the string and it slightly unrolls. You open it further to reveal the text and it reads: |
