Biography
Ramses
Ramses always called himself a scholar, but there are those who would say that his work until recently was more accurately described as tomb raiding. In his eyes, recovering artifacts from the past is a noble profession. By examining what your ancestors valued enough to be buried with, you can learn a lot about them. And if he sells the valuables after he's recorded his findings, well. It's not as if the dead will notice.
He's visiting a lair that had collapsed some hundred years prior when he meets her. The markings on the walls are ominous, to say the least. Evidence of a magical struggle, blood stains, hastily scribbled warnings. To call it a graveyard would imply there had been time for a burial: this was clearly not the case. And while most of the remains had long since been scavenged and decomposed, one lingered.
Nefertiti, in her ghostly form, simply watched as Ramses picked through her belongings. With a glimmer of hope in her eye, she followed him through the ruins. And while Ramses prefers to stay out of living dragons' business, he finds that he cannot say no to her silent request. He reads as much as he can find, and then sets out again. This time, on a shared quest for knowledge.
