Biography

They're falling. It's fast, the air is biting, muggy, decaying. Sickly sweet, making them both nauseous. This wasn't on their schedule. This wasn't a track change they had planned. It was another rift. Ingo was sick to death of them. So was Emmet. They can barely see past the biting wind tearing at them, hands scrabble until they find purchase. They cling, unwilling to be separated again. The smell becomes worse, and they barely get a warning before they crash into fluid. They still don't let go, unwilling to endure this alone. It's painful. It burns, stings, feels as if they're scrubbed raw and rewritten. It feels like being hit with a particularly bad poison attack. It feels like being burnt alive. They break surface. They scream, clamber out of the pool with single-minded focus, before collapsing at the edge. Their sight blurs. They're not home anymore. But they still have each other. They will always have each other. Behind them, another drags themselves out of the liquid, the presence familiar. Chandelure. Luxa. They're not alone. Never alone again.
