Clan Lore:
“The wind is quite large, dear. Careful,” Ardath said as they looked down the cliff. The large red tundra, Ardath, looked over at their lover, a fae. After the events of The Calamity of Dark, they had ran away together. They planned to create a new clan, one that was peaceful which led them to this cliff.
“I may be small, but I am not easily swayed,” their lover, Harrow, replied. She took in a deep breath of the breeze, smelling the scent that it carried. She looked at Ardath who smiled gently. The wind continues to blow as they stare into each other’s eyes; eyes so bright and happy.
“Shall we make a home down there?” Harrow asked, tilting her head. Ardath turned, his smile never fading. His eyes examined the flat area below before replying, “Yes.”

“Please come back, Ardath…” the desperate fae chanted over and over again. It’s been long since the first they lay their eyes upon each other and so soon Ardath died. “Please…” Harrow muttered, her voice dry and croaky.
As if hearing her plea, a loud shriek erupted from the cave that she is currently staying in. She jumped up weakly. The loud thumping of footsteps can be heard, shaking the cave to its core. Out came a two headed dragon never seen before in the wind territory. Its green eyes flickered all over the place.
“Do you wish to be strong?” One head shrieked.
“Do you wish for Ardath to come back?” The other continued.
Harrow looked suspiciously at it, her eyes wanting yet defiant and hesitant. “I can help you achieve your goal…but there is a setback. I can make Ardath come back, but it will cost your current form as a fae and his current form as a tundra.” The creature explained.
It jerked back and its other head spoke, “Why of course we can help with that. Under your consent.” The eyes on that head stared at her mischievously yet convincingly. Harrow, giving into the temptation despite her efforts to resist, gave in.
“What can I do?” She asked. The dragons smiled wickedly and its eyes all flicker onto Harrow.
“Why, you must become one of us,” they said in unison.
“WE CAN CREATE GREAT BLESSINGS IF YOU CHOOSE TO BECOME ONE OF US!!” They shrieked loudly, the birds flying from their perches and the wind, disturbed.
Fae, feeling scared, was overpowered by her desire for the love of her life. And nodded her head in agreement.
Just like they said, she became one of them and the love of her life came back, but they disappeared.
