Yun11ij.png The winds whipped around the windborne tides clutch, starting the hatching ceremony that the various Windborne pairs in the gale have created to encourage the hatchlings out of their shells. Saira is one of the first of the Windborne Tide's bloodline, an event always followed by celebration for the new pairs first born. The first clutch of eggs are usually the most powerful, due to the other pairs in the hatchery contributing their magic to ensure a successful hatch. However she didn't receive such power, all she had received were ordinary powers. Saira watched from a distance as her siblings grew in power, manipulating the winds and creating small storms. Her ordinary powers didn't separate her from her family, they still loved her and gave her attention. But Saira was longing for something else, a world outside the Gale where her powers wouldn't be overshadowed by her siblings.

Once she left the Gale, her memories began to cloud and she began to forget. She still sees the Gale and her family in her dreams from time to time, but she no longer knew where the gale was... (To be continued)
