clan herbalist and apothecary, Rosales (nickname- Ros) spends a great deal of time with Eclypse, Lilith, and Penelope in their botanical and healthcare work, respectively. Ros doesn't participate in medical treatment, but rather the cultivation of herbs and preparation of brews and tonics used in medical treatment.

ne has a keen eye (or snout, rather) for healing herbs, and a significant amount of neir time is spent searching out medicinal herbs, collecting their seeds and spores, and carefully cataloging and storing them for future use (ne has quite the seed "library" going). practically the only thing neir memory can hold onto is neir seed catalog-- ne can tell you anything about any particular herb, but ne wouldn't be able to name the day of the week.

Ros is very easy-going, neir swaying gait exemplifying neir "go with the flow" attitude. most think this has a great deal to do with Ros' use of more 'recreational' herbs, and they wouldn't be wrong. a fragrant cloud of incense and other herbs trails Ros wherever ne leads, leaving a pleasant, pacifying aroma in neir wake. after all this time, Ros is practically saturated with the scents of neir herbs, and would be hard-pressed to try and wash them out.

despite neir lax demeanor, Ros is a reliable and trustworthy companion, quite happy and willing to help out anyone in need, especially if ne can put neir skills as an herbalist to use. Ros is serious about neir work, very meticulous and careful in neir brewing and cultivation. many have caught nem affectionately whispering to neir plants, claiming, "the good vibes help 'em grow~". it's no wonder, then, that Brem is a welcome guest in neir herbal gardens for her vocal talents.

ne also enjoys the company of Xerult, his high-strung personality and Ros' lax meshing together well. Ros is always happy to listen to Xerult explain the optimum soil maintenance needed to help neir plants grow.

Ros has a strained camaraderie with Wander. Ros thinks he's great fun to be with on the days they both use some of Ros' "happy herbs", but ne's otherwise generally annoyed by Wander's lack of respect. Wander's disrespect usually revolves around other dragon/Beast cultures, but Ros in particular has problems dealing with Wander invading neir seed stocks for recreational herbs. if it were any other Ridgeback, Ros would pass this off as the Ridgeback tendency for "borrowing", but seeing as Wander acts rather guilty when caught, Ros doesn't cut him any breaks.
