Erebus is an extremely old Tundra with a gift for seeing into the future, as well as the past. A naturally talented seer, Erebus uses a multitude of methods to determine what is to come, including Runes, Tarot, and crystal ball; however, his most well-known technique is his Inner Eye. When he has a vision, he essentially blacks out to the rest of the world. His pupils dilate and contract, his heart races, he breathes heavily, and he essentially has a seizure. These visions happen at seemingly random times, and he has no way to control them.

While born in Arcane, he lived most of his life in Shadow, where he healed and medically countered curses. His first mate was a Ridgeback, with whom he had two children. Grief racked him when she decided to join the ranks of the Shadowbinder, taking the children with her and essentially leaving him in the dark.

He took a second mate, a Pearlcatcher, with whom he had two more kids, but those kids also went to join the Shadowbinder's ranks, and his mate left him for another male (and another, and another...).

It was around this time Erebus met Sin and Mara, a troubled Cursed Bat and an enigmatic Runic Bat with gifts similar to his. They decided to travel back to the Starfall Isles, where Erebus hoped to settle with a Clan, rather than spending his life alone. He now resides in the Song of the Starwood, where he performs seeing and healing duties for the other dragons there. He has chosen not to take another mate, as he does not want to experience that heartbreak a third time.
