The big man.
Possibly a very fatherly figure. The current thought is, when I rewrite Veil's bio, that she was the first thing Clathrus saw after reawakening. A tiny Fae hatchling that he could cup in his claws, scared and hungry and injured (close encounter with wyrmwound, peacock and primal) and asking if he was papa. He takes her under his wing and slowly learns how the world has changed while he was asleep on that pillar. He's the only one who knows the Hive, decades ago, used to be a laboratory that studied what is now the Crimson Mold, and that he was the one who caused the accident.
