"Excellent! Let's begin the date then! Why don't you start the 'Invoke the depths' ritual?" - Ln'eta.

Ln'eta is an eldritch goddess of unimaginable power. Merely gazing upon her has the power to unravel someone's mind and drive them to insanity, but if you take her book of spells that please her and complete all the rituals without flaw? She could end the very world as we know it. ... So, then, you have to ask yourself, who in the world was dumb enough to do such a thing? If you take one look at Ln'eta herself, so gorgeous and enrapturing, you'd immediately assume it was Cupid. And you know what? That's fair. But you'd be with egg on your face. It was actually Danthe who summoned Ln'eta to Sornieth, having found her book of rituals and grown too curious for her own good. And unfortunately, no one knew what she had been up to until it was far too late. Once Danthe had been confronted with Ln'eta, she became entranced by her power and sought to see the rituals to their completion, hoping to gain power of her own. Or, at least, that's what Danthe will tell you, her face dusted pink and gaze darting everywhere but towards you. If you ask Ln'eta herself, then you'll learn that Danthe actually fell head over heels and sought to complete the rituals for a smooch. And she almost did, which is the freakiest part! If it hadn't for BEN reversing time by three days with the Song of Time, we might all be dead. Then he confiscated the book of rituals and hid it from her to discourage any repeats. "You're an absolute mad lad, Danthe. Is it weird that I respect the Din out of that?" ... Every so often, Danthe will find a way to get the book back and will summon Ln'eta to Sornieth again, still determined to get that smooch. Their dates sometimes expand to exploring Sornieth, seeing the sights and taking in the scenes. Ln'eta sincerely enjoys their time spent together and Danthe's humorous company, but she hasn't quite found it in herself to tell the Skydancer that her heart actually belongs to someone else. Maybe someday he'll be able to see Sornieth for himself, and they can meet again. |
