all destined to burden the plaguebringer's hate
the earthshaker turned their hearts into stone
the tidelord has bound all their tongues
the shadowbinder doomed to wander alone

_____This guardian cuts a rather large and imposing presence, but despite this has taken up the role of gentle, soft-spoken caretaker of the nursery, tending to the clan's new hatchlings and the eternally young. _____Once upon a time, this fearsome Guardian had been raised and trained as a warrior, though he'd never truly fit the part. Too soft, too kind, and far more interested to tending to the flowers than he ever was in fighting. Oh, if only he'd been born a Skydancer or something similar, one of those delicate, graceful sorts. He never was all that well-suited to his body, with all its jagged scales and iron claws. Perhaps one of the clan's sages can be convinced to teach him how to become a tundra... _____Hatchlings unfamiliar with him may fear his massive stature at first, though most will quickly grow to love him regardless, finding comfort and shelter in the shadow of his bright wings. | ~~~~~~ |
