A solitary and unlikely friend, Maelstrom tends to enjoy his alone time more than just about any other dragon out there. Most find his name to be ironic given his disdain toward water, but instead of letting anyone bother him he will busy himself by creating machines fit for the creation by his small hands. Intricate and nearly impossible in design, Maelstrom will excitedly show anyone his newest invention regardless of whether or not they're willing to hear about it. Otherwise, the only other times he willingly holds conversation is if someone is requesting a gadget or trinket made specifically by him. Unless you catch him at a rare moment where he is in a genuinely good mood, this Coatl might begin speaking in his native language in an attempt to deter you from bothering him. Should that not work his faithful companion and familiar, slow moving as it is, will effectively remove any annoyances, thus leaving him alone to his tools as he prefers to live.
