DarkMatter is a friend to everyone. His little bar is very popular for dragons of all dispositions who want to enjoy good music and good drinks. There's little the Nocturne enjoys more than a full, merry house to wait on. The bar feels like his home in a way his comfortable but simple living quarters never could, and the customers feel like family in ways he's sure not even his hatchmates could compete with. The money is good, too, and he doesn't deny that that's a perk, but it's also true he's not in this business for the treasure it brings.

DarkMatter himself is a very charming host: funny and attentive, famous for his loud jokes and his penchant for making friends with every single misfit he finds. He likes to offer conversation, friendship and food to dragons who don't get out much, and has thus made unusual friends such as Cloud, who comes by the bar every night to learn new recipes and socialize, and Ember, whom he brings fried fish to every day at noon without fault.

It is a little surprising, though, that to his own astonishment he's managed to charm the sweetest, most gorgeous Imperial he's ever seen. Constellation is a legend or a goddess to others, but only he knows the feeling of touching her, of talking to her and seeing her smile gently at him. He keeps his lady's secret faithfully, although he can't quite hide the way his eyes gleam when others ask him about the rumors...
