B I O G R A P H Y

Astra was born in the Tourmaline Archives, and since the day she was born she felt the need for exploration. Usually her parents having to keep her at bay so she doesn't end up falling in the sea as she was a very clumsy dragonet. Growing up with her siblings she was the only Skydancer out of her Imperial family, mostly due to her grandmother's genes.

Despite this she looks much less Skydancer than usual. First she's bigger than most Skydancers out by 3 meters, and has huge wings compared to her body. Her horns continually grow, causing her to trim up her own horns. Fur seems to be more apparent on her body, especially around her arms and legs. This caused her ability to fight much better than the average Skydancer, but lesser than Imperial (by a long way).

Since she was a dragonet she trained to fight with her siblings, who were much bigger and stronger than her, but she still enjoyed it. Getting older she managed to beat only one of her siblings in a straight fight, showing that she could hold herself in a straight fight. This lead her on the path that she is on now, but at this time she kept repeatedly training, to hopefully become a mercenary.

Although a terrible accident had occurred, nearly killing her in the process. This accident was between Astra and an unknown force, leaving magical rune like shapes across her body. This caused her parents to grow anxious about her and stopped her training for around 5 years.

She managed to finish her training in her late teens, and so she set off away from her family, to become a traveling mercenary across Sornieth, but she found a position within a forgotten island, although she wasn't expecting to be greeted by the clan "leader" who looked and acted younger than her. Although was much more quickly put aside and talked to an older Banescale.

She was hired to protect the clan of dragons and so she did. Although one day a masked dragon came through, clearly wounded, but still trekking through without listening to the guards. Every time the mysterious dragon came through the guards tried to chase them out or get any answers. It was rather annoying to put it short.

Days went by, and many times the mercenaries had to go off and do other things. And so sometimes the masked dragon went through with no problem, since the others were off doing another thing.

One day Astra overestimated what she could do, in a fight against a Ridgeback, who after murdering two of their members within the clan, ran off. Astra passed out from blood loss but managed to do a number to him, and he left her there to die. That is until the masked figure came, dragged her body off to her cave, and bandaged up her wounds.

Astra woke up a couple days later, confused and a little scared because after all she was in a random dragon's den. When the figure came in they seemed pleased to see her awake. Greeting her and walking past Astra, who could barely walk at that time. Astra was worried that the figure would hurt her in a weak moment.

After around a week she had herself in a better position to actually go out of the den without risk of more serious injury. The figure who she had talked to for the past week was saddened to have company leave, especially one who wasn't trying to kill them or hunt them down.

When Astra returned many of the other dragons thought she had died and went searching for her. Astra didn't mention the figure who had saved her. Mostly because she was worried if she would become a disappointment towards her peers that she didn't jail or bring the masked figure with her.

That is until the masked figure was found, before they could run, revealing the dragon to be a rather annoyed mirror. She was thrown in jail until the clan could decide what to do with her. In the meantime Astra was assigned to guard the mirror.

The two had gotten along a lot better than the other guards had realized, usually laughing and joking. The mirror finally introduced herself as Shatter. Her and Shatter got along, allowing Astra to get close enough to discuss as to why she was so wounded when they first met.

By the overruling decision of Ace's and Scout was to let Shatter go, but be heavily monitored since Shatter did not harm another or steal anything. Not many dragons turned a second eye as Ace was the same dragon who allowed an Emperor dragon within the clan. But it seemed Scout was closer to Shatter than any of the other dragons.

Astra and Shatter however only grew closer, with Shatter trying to revive a near-dead relationship with Scout, her adoptive mother, who had tried to get her to join the clan years ago, but she never accepted. Astra and Shatter usually were seen close by each other, usually when Astra was on guard duty.

This is how their relationship start blossoming into something more. The two could be seen commonly flirting with each other, or more of Astra flirting to a very angrily flustered Shatter. The two were slowly falling for each other though.

Although currently the two are not confirmed to be together... In public anyways. They show their affection more in private anyways.

_DESCRIPTION_

____Astra can be noted to being a very cocky dragon, one who has a tendency to underestimate many things. She is shown to attach herself to new ideas rather quickly. Astra is one of the many mercenaries that are in the clan, and she is one of the most headstrong out of all of them. She unlike most Skydancers, is not anywhere close to being a pacifist, afterall she was raised by an entirely Imperial family, with some being from Plague.

To put it short while she looks like your average Skydancer some parts a bit more different due to her lineage. Mostly just her size and fur has been changed. Her "orb" that should be on her skull, but she doesn't have one. She has trouble with others emotions due to this. Then she is a whole lot more fluffier than the regular Skydancer, with her mane going down all the way to the start of her nose, and ends to the tip of her tail. Her arm and leg fur go all the way down to feet, acting almost like feathers. Her own horns continually grow like an Imperial's, causing her to trim them up. She doesn't really have a beak like most Skydancers, its much shorter and less noticable. Her wings and tail look too large on her own body, which is already larger than average for Skydancers.

With her job however, the way she is, is much more useful. As she isn't as delicate as most Skydancers, she can easily fight closer than most dragons of her species.
