Biography
Murdock doesn't talk about where he came from, nor about his earlier homes and clans. It's suggested from careful context that he has had many homes, but the usually chatty fae goes quiet at talk of history. Unlike how it might be for more intimidating dragons, Murdock's quiet over his origins does not alarm anyone in the clan. It is a fact that's acknowledged and largely left alone. Newcomers sometimes try to coax the story out, but it never comes and probably never will.
Being an agreeable and rather helpful dragon, Murdock finds himself with many friends no matter where he goes. Due to his small size, most of his clan appoints themselves as his protector. Solana in particular acts as a mother figure to him, which he does not mind and even appreciates during rough stretches. The fae Onni is another good friend to Murdock. Though close in age, Onni looks up to Murdock and often asks to hear tales of his travel and alchemy experiences.
Having helped with the protection and management of Zuriel's charge, both the male guardian and his mate, Lielle, are close friends of Murdock, and they have all vowed to never part ways for as long as they all remember their first days together.
To date, Murdock has shown no interest in finding a mate. He bonds with creatures around the region, often inviting them into the clan's lair once having gained their trust. His many friends provide all the companionship that he otherwise needs.
Murdock's favorite colour is yellow. This is no secret to any sighted dragon or creature. The inside of his roost is lined with earrings of all golden shades, stuck into the intricate sap loops and crevices. Unsuspecting dragons new to the clan often make the mistake of coming beneath Murdock's roost and entangling themselves in the nearly invisible lines of thread dangling down from above, each of them lined with bits of gold, herbs, and gemstones.
