- grew up in plague with the whole 'survival of the fittest' mentality, but after *insert backstory reason* he left his homeland resolving to nurture new generations with the upbringing he never had.
- or maybe lowkey dislikes kids running amok and watches over them out of a sense of responsibility

also oversees housing, making sure new interns and guests have a place to stay
prob tired all the time from dealing with hatchlings and customer service (thus the eyes)
- definitely has SASS
-- though he isn't afraid to discipline the hatchlings (or chew out unruly guests) at the end of the day he finds his work rewarding and cares deeply about every hatchling he raises. For as strict as he is, he gives them that much more fun and enrichment.
