Mistral

Mistral doesn't remember her nest or her original family, but she loves her new one with all her mighty heart. Having wandered to the edge of harpy territory, she might not have lived long enough to meet them, but a young Obelisk and a determined Guardian showed up at the same time to snatch her from the spears of the beastclan who would have happily removed the competition before it had a chance to grow up. Atticus interposed himself with a mighty roar, while Sirocco caught her up in his mouth and sprinted for safety.

When the three collapsed in a wooded grotto, a frightened Mistral learned that the two were as much strangers to each other as to her, but they'd instinctively worked together to save her. Atticus adopted them both on the spot, and brought them home to the Tribe of the Windborne. In gratitude, Sirocco took a name to reflect his new family's allegiance, and he gave Mistral a name to match. She looks up to him like an older brother, and sees Atticus as a father. Bright Vega is her best and closest friend, and she's rarely found far from one of the three.

Bright of soul and sweet of heart, Mistral is a gentle and caring dragon, more suited to tending the wounded than standing on the front lines. She can be fearful of strangers and cautious of new experiences, being one of the more timid dragons in the Tribe, but her compassion and willingness to help and forgive others make her a much-loved and protected member of the family.
A fierceness lurks deep beneath her shy surface, however; she might not raise a claw to hurt a fly or defend herself, but hurt a member of her family and this Guardian will find her courage to protect those who have given her a home.
