• Legends say that they were born from the depths of storm clouds.

• When enraged, their skin will release a special chemical that reacts with those upon their feathers. In small amounts, it can generate an electric charge, causing whatever it touches to receive a nasty shock. In a greater amount, dark smoke condenses along the rachis of their feathers, accompanied by red electrical discharges. When in flight, the released smoke and electrical discharges trail behind them to resemble giant, turbulent storm clouds.

• Their domain resides within the dark, miasma-shrouded mountains south of Jinqiu Country. The miasma is thickest during the moments of dawn and dusk, and those two periods happen to be when the mountains are most dangerous. Time is hard to tell in their domain -- miasma makes it so that the skies are separated from their mountain peaks through a thick veil of dark crimson.
