_______Hollow_______

Hollow was born strong, which was something he needed to be when born into the Plague flight. From a young age he was left alone to fend for himself alongside his siblings. Like the nests before his, their parents soon left them completely abandoned to the merciless Scarred Wasteland. His sisters... didn't make it. Their lives lost shortly after trying to venture into the Earth flight. Hollow however, was overly confident in his survival abilities despite their failure to thrive. The imperial managed to make a life for himself against the odds along the border with Arcane.

The young dragon, despite his small stature for his breed, was confident in his ability to take on larger opponents. This arrogance lead him to cross the border in search of opponents and other ways to push himself to grow more powerful. It was there that he met Masika, a pearlcatcher who's comments served to boost his ego even more. With confidence, Hollow decided to join the princess back at the developing realm. As he grew big enough, the imperial was given the rank of a knight, tasked with serving and defending the realm. Of course, the egotistical dragon often boasted of his new position. Hollow often showed off his skills, which were admittedly good even by a humble dragon's standards, in hopes of catching Masika's eyes.

His interest in the princess had little to do with her rank and more to do with her own beauty. Of course a handsome dragon such as him deserved a mate equally as regal and strong. As time went on the two were often found together. The excuse was often said to be due to Hollow becoming her personal knight to protect her from any vile attacks against her, but it was only a partial truth. While Hollow had no royal or noble blood to speak of, he had indeed won Masika over with his devotion and strength—naturally his looks played a good part too. A mate to a royal had to be a dragon who could look the part of royalty at the very least.

Shortly after the two were officially announced as wed they had a nest of three eggs. Hollow was confident from the start their hatchlings would look just as beautiful as their parents. And as a prince he knew he held the political power as well as physical strength to protect them. Their first born was their son Manik, who would of course be made their heir. While Hollow left the task of teaching his son about leading a kingdom to Masika, he did keep up with how all his hatchlings were doing. Unlike when he'd grown up, the three would only know a spoiled life. It was strange and he even missed how it used to be, though being such a great warrior, Hollow knew he'd earned this life.

When Manik was stolen from them Hollow became even more protective of his two remaining daughters. The imperial was insistent they learn how to defend themselves even a little and he shamed the current knights for their failure to do their job. It was a dark time for him, though as a member of the royal family and raised to hide weakness his appearance stayed aloof. In his free time he would train harder, refusing to let something like this happen again.

His son's unexpected return amazed everyone. The celebration was large, though Hollow kept alert for Tantris or any of his cronies. The guardian was obviously still a threat and one he wouldn't let slip by him again. Like King Murmur, he would defend the realm and his family with his life. When he wasn't letting himself be pampered alongside his mate, Hollow would be training to keep his skills sharp. As the best in the realm, he needed to be ready.
