Murkanix

One of the less wholesome of the clan's contacts with a questionable reputation to match, Murk is a notably clever ridgeback that has taken to heart the preferences and complaints of other dragon breeds and so turned his "borrowing" into something a little different. He can get you anything you could ever want, any item you could wish for, any information possible to learn... for a price. Sometimes he is willing to part with something via conventional means, like gems and gold, but the most common means of payment is trade for things other than currency. It may be something you know, or a name, or an item, a spell, or something more unconventional. Those who can't pay don't get what they're after, and it's not unusual for him to come across dragons unwilling or unable to pay for what they claim to desire most.

Getting in timely contact with Murk to do business can be a chore as he is always off increasing and perfecting his collection, but word of those looking for him always seems to reach his ear. It may just be best to do it ahead of time and expect a wait, depending on circumstances. If asked about supply, he insists that his cache is matched by very few in Sornieth and anything it lacks will be made up for in time. None can actually verify this as his trove of items and who-knows-what-else is secreted away in some unknown location. It's said that he has regular dealings with the denizens holed up in the dark alleys of Murkbarrow Close, so in all likelihood it's probably somewhere in the closest and most dangerous tangles of Foxfire Bramble, where none can find and few can follow. It's also possible that he has ties to a certain pair of performing skydancers, but there's no substantial proof of that either.
