LOG 01, FOURTH AGE, XXXX
The "Tower of Eyes", known also as the "Abstraction" or the unholy name "Dist'hajinn" is an entity that "existed" long before Sornieth, despite being made in Sornieth as well. There's this theory that goes around- all ideas and concepts have existed forever and are born again once they're recognized in the eyes of a civilization. I, too, was a concept long before I was born and recognized... I can't wrap my head around that. It's much easier to understand with non-mortal concepts. Never mind the fact that I am... no longer mortal, either, am I?
It's a bizarre half-child of godhood and mortality, as it exists on Sornieth. Its body serves as a plane in-between planes, almost like a threshold of sorts. This was greatly beneficial for Hotel Mabiya's nature as an "easily accessible shelter". It's almost terrifying, nobody knows they're leaving the realm of Sornieth when they check in. But anyways, the Abstraction is responsible for the stability of Hotel Mabiya's omnipresence as of right now, though we are considering making more pacts in the future. I don't know yet. Mabiya never shares their ideas with me anymore.
LOG 02, FOURTH AGE, XXXX
I've learned that it has a million forms, but all are inaccurate to its true appearance, I believe. It never has a linear form. When it feels the need to, it creates and puppets a form representing itself. When this form is destroyed or "killed", the Abstraction remains unharmed, making it simply a minor inconvenience. Its most popular appearance is of a brightly colored Imperial wearing jagged armor of tar and teeth. Its head is akin to a deer skull, with long, oily tendrils spilling out of it like a mane. Its wings are a mass of translucent hands, grabbing and clawing at anything within reach. It also smells strongly of durian. I really don't like the smell of durian...
It's difficult to communicate with the Abstraction, since it doesn't exactly "talk" in the traditional sense. It shares its thoughts with someone else like a psychic transfer of sorts, but the thoughts are a bit... well, abstract. Who coulda guessed.
LOG 03, FOURTH AGE, XXXX
The Abstraction could never handle loneliness. It is in a god's blood to remain calm in the face of oblivion, knowing it shall be the last to see the universe collapse. But The Abstraction was made in tandem with mortal flesh, and could feel the anguish of eternal solitude. Admittedly afraid of this fate, It had created something new... children.
The Abstraction then tore itself apart once again, creating new life. Its first four spawns were created as Its eternal company, a demonic entourage.
But beyond Its first young, The Abstraction had also created mortal offspring. These dragons would be sent off into Sornieth, where they'd record their experiences for The Abstraction to see, as It admittedly has missed the physical world and grew curious of its current state. These children were not perfect recreations of mortal dragons, however, with visible deformities and unnatural demeanours. Some might have already been euthanized or imprisoned.
But as for those that still live...
