Raiden came to the Aember clan from clan Cynefin. He left the clan to expand the lineage outward alongside his brother Leif. They stumbled upon this rather bright clan and saw how different it was from their previous home. Deciding he and Leif had traveled far enough they landed and were treated by Misae, one of the scouts for the clan. Misae took them to Danika who had no further questions, knowing the Aember clan was no stranger to clan Cynefin and vice versa. The boys were set up with the scouts until they could find a position in the clan to suit them. So far, they have been learning much about the clan, going out with the various food-collecting groups such as the hunters, and studying under Umnia, the lead fisher. They proved to be pretty skilled in each. They explored the archives and Shoneah showed them her workshop. They accompanied Nex on his trips for Wanderer the archivist and looked at the clan's nests with Queenie. Everyone fell in love with the boys' readiness to learn and sense of duty. They introduced them to Samira and Carwyn who both had a similar job to their parents, expanding their lineage for the clan. They were surprised to learn that Shoneah was one of their hatchlings. They felt empowered knowing that someone could find such an important place in the clan. Raiden decided to study under Nex and Azrail in hopes of becoming a leader of the clan in the future, perhaps as an ambassador to his previous clan.
