providence is the clans prophet. he greets and sorts the newcomers into their predestined dens according to the inscriptions, preaching to each one about their place both in the clan as family to each other, and in the universe as a pawn to the unknown. he has a sharp tongue and many newcomers are wary of him, but the oldest clan members respect his knowledge and dedication.

fortune is a seer and possesses a power to create the holy inscriptions according to the will of the universe. she lives hidden away in an underground pond from everyone, cared for solely by providence. it is unknown whether she controls and sets the path or is merely a tool used by greater spirits to spread the word of the path.
