Biography
A dozen eyes blink in unison, but you feel reassured that they can not see you. If they did, surely the owner of said eyes would have caught you sneaking behind his back. The rumors were true than, a blind small thing with too many eyes. From the drawings in the walls of the cave you assumed the rumors of him being crazed were also true. A blind mad man left to rot in this cave one would think, if not for the treasures that laid within the back of this cave. If the rumors of his eyes, blindness, and madness were true, than surely was the treasure. The ‘scratch scratch’ of the chalk on the walls covers your footsteps, hissing your presence.
Walking further and further into the cave the scratching can be heard from further away, soon you are assured you are out of earshot and take less care to sneak. Taking a corner, than another, and another, you come to realize this place is a maze. Odd.
But soon you come across a treasure trove, the rumors were true!! Rubies as large as your claws lay scattered across the floor, cushioned by mountains of gold and silver. Treasures from times past, a golden era no doubt, laid bare before your feet. Assured you are alone you gather what you can, shoving as much as possible within the sack. Soon the sack is bulging, unable to carry one more coin in fear of bursting.
“My my, aren’t we having fun?” A low voice, scratchy from none use is heard behind you. Gasping you swing around, claws out and ready to attack. But the sky dancer is further than you thought, now standing between you and the mouth of the tunnel.
“Move! I have no problem taking down someone who is blind!”
You were sure of yourself, that is until the sky dancer chuckled. Those dozen of eyes blinked once more, but you realized the ones on the others head were closed. Slowly you realize you had been seen the entire time, but this thing had been messing with you!!
“I wonder how you taste? Would all of that greed have spoiled the meat? Let’s see….” The sky dancers body unhinges from the torso up, teeth protruding from it’s chest. It’s at this moment you realize the dragon isn’t right, it has too many teeth, the top is too floppy, and the eyes are too many.
The birds outside of the cave along the treetops scatter as screams and crunches echo from it’s depths. A single golden coin, covered in blood, rolls out of the cave’s entrance. The screaming has stopped.
