Marisol

Shrewd, intelligent, and with a very healthy ego, Marisol loves nothing more than making good deals. She works tirelessly to expand her merchant business. Despite starting from nothing, she is a quick learner and very ambitious.

Marisol's statue was uncovered before most Obelisks made their debut. Thought to be little more than an ancient and valuable statue, she was sold to the highest bidder. Kept in a meeting room of an extremely wealthy merchant guild, she slowly started to become aware of her surroundings. As she started to awaken, she listened to the discussions of those around her. The guild, despite their opulence, was blinded by their own arrogance and stubbornness to the old ways, and lavished in their own wealth rather than improve.

She chose to emerge very dramatically during a meeting and announced that she would show them how a true trader does things! After those around her composed themselves, they laughed in her face and threw her out.

Undiscouraged, she chose to startup up her own rival merchant guild. Though it is currently only small and moderately successful, she believes she will eventually become Sornieth's most well known merchant guild.

She was attacked early in her career by a group of thieves that caused her to lose vision in her right eye, and prompted her to hire guards for her merchandise and herself. Her personal guard is Cyra who she gets along very well with. Due to Shadow dragons reputation for being shady, she wears lenses that lighten her eye so she more resembles an Ice dragon, while her damaged eye is kept covered.
