with a burning glare that feels almost out of place, one would think this imperial wasn't as forgettable as he is.
yet another mystery, a conveniently dull spot in aefen's records, mycroft rarely spends much of his valuable time in one spot. captain of the golden brigade and first to report any necessary information to the crown, he somehow manages to be everywhere yet nowhere at once- and pridefully so. though it is a rare occurrence to the general, he does occasionally play the violin in his free time- the beautiful melodies are more than enough to convince a lured audience that the instrument itself is alive. |

mycroft is unique in the sense that he was personally authorized by Alois to deal with business outside of his immediate reach. long years of experience and impeccable deduction skills aid in bringing back results, though he knows better than to pry further into certain topics- possessing knowledge he's already accepted on taking to his grave. diogenes is a name one might hear mumbled from mycroft during his episodes of self talk, a name referring to a wandering spirit he found during one of his travels. the creature itself doesn't have a physical form, often taking the appearance of a bird for convenience, however this lack of form allows it to take the shape of various instruments | ____ |

or weapons. the wandering spirit seems to take a liking to the nickname of diogenes, for he enjoys being compared to the knowledge spread within underground clubs, and it is much better than to be known as those feared nixies. though, despite their poor reputation, it's said that to catch the love of one is to gain its centuries of wisdom. countless stories and hardships have already begun to weigh on the imperial's once prime state, inhaling the fog of the mountain isn't as easy as it used to be. it'd be best not to comment on the croupier's cane, rather let him believe it's for aesthetic purposes. you probably wouldn't have noticed it yourself if fiver and leroux kept their mouths closed for once, poor guy. | ___ |
