Ideas:
Rachel, also known as Mad Rachel and Rachel the Mad, is a scientist who has devoted herself to the study of the Forbidden Portal, its energies, and its inhabitants.
At one point I even considered her having voices in her head, similar to Richtofen and the Voices of Corruption/the Shadowman.
Not sure if she's actually part of the clan or merely allied with it but thinking she may have a research facility near the Forbidden Portal. Also considered that Xol and Henrietta might allies/colleagues of hers. Another idea I've considered is that she works for someone/someone is funding her research but who that is I'm not sure. Possibilities include a female Obelisk and a female Pearlcatcher.
If I manage to give her the genes Pharaoh and Sarcophagus, my initial idea was that her appearance was the result of her exposure to the Forbidden Portal's energies.
Inside her research facility is a collection of items pertaining to the Forbidden Portal such as a Book of Eldritch Horror and a Lurching Tome. Pretty much every trinket and item associated with the Forbidden Portal that you can get she has at least one of.
