Taeun

No one knows where Taeun came from or where Taeun goes, but The Trial of Skull is where the silent obelisk resides in-between Taeun's travels. Speaking only in hushed whispers, this obelisk makes even the mighty Krystallo worriedly curious. Taeun whispers about The Plaguebringer like the two were old friends, rumours weave through the Scarred Wasteland about an obelisk that dived into the Wyrmwound, and who gracefully swam back out days later unphased. A chattering Spirit of Plague is always around Taeun, the small rat-like thing's name unknown but it's bite fierce enough to leave a hatchling writhing. Chuckling as the Spirit chases a fly around the obelisk's tail, and watching the clan go about their days from a perch above Taeun's den. A wary Plague Sprite visits the clan rarely, and Taeun's eyes light with adoration as the red Sprite whispers in Taeun's ear. Taeun begins another journey to the Wyrmwound as the Sprite flies away on battered wings.
