Steelsong

From her name to her appearance, everything about Steelsong simply screams “warrior” about her. Somebody that has sworn themselves to battle against their enemies for the ones they are loyal or to themselves, someone who is willing to bathe themselves in the scarlet blood of others for no matter the consequences. There was a time that she was like that, a warrior of high pedigree and skill that could rarely ever be matched; she has toppled enemies several times larger than her even at the brink of death. The armor she wears is old with several of scratches and dents from her previous battles, yet they still retain their strength after so many years and have always protected her.

Steelsong has long since put down her sword these days however, for reasons why is still unknown. She isn’t willing to answer any questions pertaining to her retirement from the field and will get physical if someone is particularly nosey and irritating. Instead, she spends her days helping within the local library, sorting and organizing books all day long. To some it may seem boring, yet to her, this job has been the most peaceful of times her life has ever been since her birth.

Yet, she knows that the peace will not last. For someday, she will have to pick the blade up again, to finish what she should’ve done so long ago.

No matter how much ache it will cause to her soul in doing so.
