Sgian-dubh, the Wandering Song
[he/him]
a travelling bard hailing from misty highlands, this man - "Ye lot can call me Sgian, since lowlanders have a hard time with our language, eh?" - was introduced to the company through Dirk, a prior friend of his from their joint homeland. Apprenticed at one point to a master philologist, Sgian is well-read and well-mannered too, but found his calling lay more in the musical arts than the study of apocrypha.
more interesting to note is that he first arrived bearing the unconscious body of Machete on his back and in a ragged and worn state. he refused to say what had happened, but remained at her side until she awoke in the infirmary. it took her the greater part of a week to wake up, and once she did, the two of them treated the entire infirmary to a rousing argument. the exact subject of the argument was neither here nor there, but Machete ultimately agreed to a period of rest and rehabilitation at Argyra.
after about two months, Sgian and Machete bid farewell to Argyra, with Sgian promising to return once their business was concluded.
