The Chronometrist
Aphelion doesn't seem to notice you at all.
Her gaze is fixed on a timepiece, her quill poised over parchment.

"Two hundred and forty-five, two hundred and forty-six, two hundred and- oh, hello there. How long have you been waiting, then? I need you to tell me precisely. For my records, you know. My data must be up to date."

Backstory
Aphelion has a reputation for precision, punctuality, and above all- patience. Her studies cover the nature of time, the measurement of it, and the many ways of keeping it at a consistent and orderly manner. She is a font of knowledge for the many researchers in her clan, an indispensable resource for all experiments that take place, and an absolute fixture in the Observatory. It's a long-standing clan joke that Aphelion is more consistent than time itself, and should she ever run late, the universe as we know it would implode.

Relationships
  • Perihelion is an endless source of fascination to her. Guilty of initially treating the Chronomancer like a test subject of her own, she quickly grew to respect his wealth of knowledge and passion for his field. His sporadic and asynchronous existence entranced her, and she came to love the way his skills and personality complement her own.
  • Tabriz greatly relies on Aphelion's skills when creating his clockwork masterpieces. Though they agree on all things calculable, Aphelion thinks his sense of aesthetics often overrule his need for accuracy, to her chagrin.
