Scientists are perhaps the only ones in the employment of Project Nexus that aren't really trained in combat. They are, however, very important cogs that keep Project Nexus running, even if they tend to get bullied a little by the troops that are supposed to protect them, but, well... many of them are nerds.

Though equipped with laser pistols for protection, they are liable to set unfinished experiments free if they feel threatened. This... may backfire. But at least the intruder is also gone, right?

Kiwi in particular was among Dr. Crackpot's scientists that was exposed to the Shade, though luckily, she didn't go fully insane, and is still functional. Even if her wings have an eerie, purple glow now.
