sand art painter and chalk maker. spends most of her days on the bedrock of mango pirate canyon as a day market vendor, trying to sell her art (with little success - though hatchlings love her chalks for drawing on the canyon walls). she prefers creating murals over portraits, but beggars can't be choosers, and she's hardly established enough for a dragon to commission such a large piece from her. when the market is slow and her supplies are running low, she ventures out into the desert to collect materials for her wares. most of her funds have to go to renting a berth in the window tier during storms, but she's attempting to save up enough to travel back to her family. until then, she's stuck here

terrified of the cellar due to the many rumors she hears about the unsavory business that goes on in there. her market stall neighbor enjoys telling her allllllllll the fun fun stories about the place. she's only climbed to the attic once, in order to purchase a market permit from ellenjane.

also terrified of the storms that sweep through and flood the canyon. early on in her stay, she bought a weather protection charm from a market vendor who claimed it would prevent a drop of water from hitting her--which, yeah, turned out to be fake. regardless, she clutches the thing to her chest during her every stay renting a public berth during a storm, muttering prayers to the gladekeeper to please, please keep her safe and please let no one mug her this time around

she has to admit, though. some evenings, walking the sand dunes on the northern side outside the canyon, searching for plants and minerals to turn into dyes and chalks to sell, the sunset in the desert? it really is quite beautiful
