Sam is a dragon who isn't afraid to get her paws dirty. From a young age, she's always been content with splaying out in the dirt under a warm sunbeam and taking a nap. A dragon of few words, she's always been willing to roll with things - and her interest in gardening and the subsequent muscles that came with meant that she was always being tapped for one chore or another.

Thankfully, Sam's always been a practical sort. She's the reliable one that the family leaves in charge of the kids during family reunions and events and who ends up with a line up of hatchlings all waiting to be slung into the air and caught again.

Overall though, Sam's just content as long as she's ambling about and growing something. She's got a green thumb and a joy in digging her claws through sun-warm dirt. While she does enjoy munching on some of what she grows, the vast majority she gives away for free. The joy for her isn't in the end product, but in the process.

While they do say opposites attract, everyone is still surprised by Sam and Weizen. No one would expect someone who turns their nose up at dirt to be in a relationship with someone who practically rolls in it as a job after all, but somehow it just - works. Both Sam and Weizen need their ample alone time and come together in the evening to curl up together. Weizen complains at length about his day and Sam 'hmms' in all the right places. Maybe they shouldn't work, but they're both glad they do.
