Furious with his sister being chosen for a high honor, such as becoming a ancient breed, Redstripe have exiled his former mate, Vixen. He rename himself, RedKing. He had rename the clan to the Sunset Kingdom. The wounds on his chest and wings came from the fight with Vixen. He have ruled that any dragons that still followed Vixen is to be killed. He had appointed Jewel to become his mate and Queen. They plan on destroying all dragons with supernatural connections because he believe they are against what the twelve flight Gods and Goddesses created in dragon kind. Unknown to him, a much darker force is fueling his hate.

The Red King knows that Shadescale had killed his supposed Queen, Jewel. That just proved to him that Jewel was to weak to be his mate and the queen of the Sunrise Kingdom. Shadescale had proven herself that shw would be a strong queen to rule by his side. Now he just need to figure out how to get rid of his weak daughter, Shayala.
