Luminita, often called Lumi, never wanted to interact with those researching the Unknown. However, his magical ability of shapeshifting doomed him to become an item of interest. He was kidnapped from his home to live in the facilities by the strange organization, never knowing what was actually happening. Through the various tests of different environments, he always gravitated to astronomy-based objectives with undying interest. Seeing this potential, the company used his naïve to work for them. As such, he became one of the organization's unemployed astronomers, and suffered the same cruel fate as any other: an irresolvable curse.

Across space and time, the Unknown launched an attack against the company in an event known as The Blackout. Buildings, technology, and priceless research was destroyed. Luminita was freed once more - but with no memory as a failsafe installed by the company. He returned to his home in the Starfall Isle with not a single recollection of where he had been all these years. To him, he had only been out on a short hike.

He presently owns a cat shelter, sided by his feline companion, Minstrel. Unbeknownst to him, the company come to his shop biweekly to observe.
