Representative for Lightning interests, needs, beliefs and individuals within the clan.

Lightning: A Natural Electrical Discharge of High Voltage
Glitch sits on the Elemental Council as the chosen Ambassador for the Lightning Flight within Clan Avarice. As well as being the foremost expert on Lightning lore, beliefs, needs, and morals, Glitch represents the interests of all Lightning-oriented dragons within the clan. The Elemental Council are 5th tier dragons in the hierarchy, although as Ambassadors and experts in their specific elements they command more respect than the average fifth tier dragon. The Elemental Council is advised by an Elemental Leader, who themselves sit under the guidance and control of The Diplomat, Azrael.

A gentle eccentric from the heart of the Shifting Expanse, Glitch joined the Avarice clan after failing to form social connections with the other Fae in her birth clan, including her siblings. She was scatterbrained and forgetful, and despite her good nature her practical and sharp clanmates found her an annoyance, a hindrance to the running of the lair, rather than any help. She left them on decent terms, unable to feel at home in the Lightning Farms despite her love for the place, and struck out for the wilds.

Glitch was clanless for some time before joining the Avarice clan. She carved out a home for herself in the Arcane wilderness, a disorganised scrap warehouse of sorts - little more than a shallow cave and lightning blasted tree where she could squirrel away anything mechanical she came across and take it apart to her heart's content. She was a tinkerer, endlessly fascinated with how machines worked, but she lacked focus and rarely completed meaningful projects. The mechanical things she wears - a coat, leg jets and the funny little golem that floats around after her - were all gifts or projects started by others which she merely finished.

Glitch is okay with this aspect of herself, though. She is not an ambitious dragon, feels no need to leave any lasting mark on the world, doesn't dream of a legacy. Distractable as she is she has a great love for all things electrical, and a good knowledge of the Lightning dragon's world, and this was enough for a fledgling Avarice clan. When she stumbled upon Chaos and her small band of dragons in the early days they welcomed her despite her eccentricities, needing her advice on how to manage these sharp, unpredictable dragons from the Shifting Expanse.

She was given the title of Lightning Ambassador and has retained it ever since, throughout the Avarice clan's growth and eventual resettlement in Light territories. She keeps a small workshop in the clan's lair and often has to be forcibly dragged from it to Elemental Council meetings - not because she resents those duties, but because she simply forgets about them in favour of her tinkering. Every now and then she manages to create some electrical invention that is useful to the clan, but in truth there are other Lightning dragons in the clan far more useful in their mechanical endeavours than her, now. She remains an elected official due to a combination of nostalgia, since she has been in the role a long time, and because most dragons in the clan like her. She's a pleasant, if odd, dragon to be around, always kind if a little aloof, zany enough to be entertaining without being offensive or concerning to even the most conservative clan members.
