Kaesa's parents are a large reason she turned out the way she did. She's young, intelligent, and strong, but it so emotionally stunted that she has no concept of wrong or right-- only weak or powerful. She fulfilled exactly what her parents intended for her: to be a loyal and committed backer of their claim to power. They didn't anticipate she'd inherit their ambition, though.

Kaesa is content to stay in her mother's shadow, supporting Luma through any endeavor, but her plans for when Luma's grasp on power is firm are... well, let's simply say it's a very long-term plan. Her proximity to Luma, and her esteem in her mother's eyes, make her capable of getting away with nearly anything, and she's in a prime position to take over should Luma make any single mistake.

It's a waiting game, but don't worry-- Kaesa is patient.
