Biography

Nightrunner loves minerals: finding them, collecting them, testing their properties, piling them into a mound and sleeping on them. (He has given up trying to create a proper roost out of tree sap; the weight of pebbles he kept stashing in his nest inevitably caused it to collapse and rain rubble on unfortunate clanmates below.)

To his bemusement, he has also become part of a Shade-hunting duo. He first accompanied Silsevva on a mission to what she thought might be Shade-touched moraines. They turned out to merely be haunted by hungry ghosts, but Nightrunner found he enjoyed aerial reconnaissance and putting his sensitivity to the landscape (both magical and mundane) to good use. Silsevva, never expressive, simply invited him on her next quest even though it had nothing to do with rocks. Nightrunner surprised himself by accepting immediately, and a partnership began.
