Deepfrost, as a Light dragon, has always been interested in gaining more knowledge. From the time he was a hatchling to today, his number one goal has been to learn about healing and become the dragon equivalent of a doctor. He studies a great deal and writes many, many detailed notes on his discoveries. He is relatively well-known for his studies across Sornieth, especially the ones concerning his mate Wintergreen's strange habit of only nesting in the Southern Icefields.

Deepfrost first saw Wintergreen as a patient who needed severe supervision and immediate treatment for whatever this odd hypnotizing illness was. He did not begin to study her with the intention of becoming her mate, but he realized that his patient needed the caring, loving attention of a mate, especially during her trips to the Icefields. They have come a long way in their relationship, to the point where Deepfrost fawns over her whenever something is wrong. He would never openly admit his affections, however -- he would merely state that they were a doctor and his patient, nothing more.

Deepfrost spends a good amount of time conversing with Atlas about any advances in technology and magic that would help his efforts to heal Wintergreen. He has also tried speaking with clan healer Eliana on various matters, but his inability to understand her words, paired with his typical scholarly impatience, has complicated their relationship. Thankfully Amethyst is usually around to translate a bit if needed. And she may be needed even more soon, as Deepfrost has buried himself especially deeply in his studies as of late... Perhaps this is because he has noticed that his wing plumage is also beginning to fade, just like Wintergreen's...?
