Rekyr

A skilled mage specialized in ancient curses and how to dispel them. He is well versed with curses both big and small, from the most common evil eye, curses bound to a bloodline, to decrepit ruins whose ancient curses have warped the place and its reality beyond recognition.

Just as a painter is often covered in paint, Rekyr’s presence is often warped by the malign energies he deals with daily. Bizarre illusions often distort his body, giving him the appearance of having one too many limbs or eyes at times, and his shadow casts figures of unknown creatures. However, Rekyr’s powerful magic nullifies most of the curses. They do no effect besides mere cosmetics that unnerve the dragons around him.

His appearance may not inspire much trust, but he will probably not curse you and your family on a whim. However, he revels in his mythologized reputation and is always eager to play into it just to mess with people.
Contrasting his infamous public reputation, the mage is well regarded among scholars and magic study circles. He receives many generous offers for his services.


Ever since he helped a bunch of dragons break Solcarven’s undead wyverns curse his public reputation has improved, much to his annoyance.
